Jun 08, 2009 I purchased a 96 polaris 1050 sltx that has ignition problems. When I got it, it started, and ran on all three cyl, but if the rpms were increased, it goes into a 'random' firing mode. That is,it fires intermittently on all three cylinders. With research I found that the cdibox was for a 2000 1200 ski. I ordered the correct box and replaced it.
