Mini trucks (Kei trucks) are 4WD, right hand drive, lightweight Japanese trucks used for transportation in Japan. They come standard with seat belts, windshield wipers, headlights, turn signals, vent, and heater.
Top speed is about 55 mph and they average 40 mpg, but come equipped with a speed governor and are sold as 'off road' vehicles. By far the most popular application is for hunting and farming, but there are also a number of other inventive ways they can be put to use.
Every truck has been completely serviced, with spark plugs, filters, and fluids checked and changed, before we place any truck for sale. We are also able to add tires, wheels and lift to any truck.

We do not sell, service, or carry parts for Honda, Subaru or any Chinese mini trucks. We began selling and servicing Japanese mini trucks in March of 2008. Since that time, there have been many changes in the process of importing these vehicles. The EPA’s requirements and the devalued American Dollar have caused prices to steadily increase over the years.

All of our Japanese mini trucks for sale are carefully selected in Japan and then undergo a 40 point bumper to bumper inspection here at the shop in Paonia (even if they don’t have bumpers). Engine oil & filter are changed and timing belts are inspected & replaced if needed! Any mechanical problems found are repaired before the vehicle is sold to you. We want your truck to be “turn key” and ready to go to work when you purchase it!
1999 and newer mini trucks all have electronic fuel injection. Some of the benefits include more dependable starts in extreme temperatures and weather conditions and electronic air/ fuel mixture adjustment for altitude changes. Most of the newer trucks also have power steering and air conditioning!

Mini trucks less than 25 years old are not street legal in Colorado. Colorado’s Department of Motor Vehicles will not issue you a license plate for any late model gasoline engine mini truck. Please check for regulations pertaining to the use of mini trucks on public roads in your state, county or city. I purchase and sell the mini trucks primarily as farm and ranch type utility vehicles and cannot assist you in registering them for use on the street. The mini trucks I import do not come with a motor vehicle title from Japan, so I am not able to provide you with one.
